HOW TO REGISTER

You may register by:

in person at 634 N. Mechanic St., 2nd Floor
with check or money order to: Jackson School of the Arts,
cash, money order, credit (Visa/MC) or debit card.

Please register in advance to ensure your enrollment. 

There is no registration fee.   You may pay in full or monthly.
One month fee plus art supply/costume fee is due at registration.

Or make monthly payments.  Invoices will be distributed, and monthly payments are due the first Friday of each month.  A late fee of $2 will be added to your invoice. 
Prevent late fees: sign up for automatic monthly withdraws from your credit/debit card. 

Your registration is your confirmation.  Unless we contact you, be prepared to arrive on your class start date and time. Registration will be accepted after a class has begun if space is available. 

Cancellation/Drop Out Policy
Each student is expected to commit to the entire term of classes.  However, if you need to withdraw, you must fill out a drop form.  Once a drop form is completed, we will refund the remaining month(s). We will not issue partial monthly refunds.  Costume and supply fees are nonrefundable.  If you do not fill out a drop form, you will continue to be billed.

Jackson School of the Arts reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment. In those cases, all fees will be refunded.

Adult and Special Workshop Refunds:  If you need to cancel an adult class or special workshop, a refund will be issued minus a 20% administrative fee.

Bad Weather Policy
If area public schools close due to the weather, please call the office 517.784.2389 to find out if the Jackson School of the Arts will hold after school classes.  We do not automatically close.  When we do cancel classes, we will schedule make up classes.

How to determine your class fee

Use the fee scale below to determine your monthly fee for art, dance or theater classes. 
 
amount per month x months of classes + supply fee = Total fee.

8 months (32 weeks) for dance + $10 nonrefundable costume usage fee
4  months (16 weeks) for creative movement
2 or 4  months (8 or 16 weeks) for art + nonrefundable art supply fee  (see class description) 
4 months (16 weeks) for theater

2 months (8 weeks) for parent/child yoga (Child pays using fee scale, parent is free)
